Assisted Living/Long Term Care Programs
Assisted living and long term care specializations are often offered with bachelors in health care administration degrees. While earning this degree students will study health administration, health care planning, health policy, and regulations and financing. These skills along with the study of health science in gerontology will prepare the student to work with long term care patients in assisted living facilities and increase their quality of life. Demands for jobs in this industry are increasing as baby boomers continue to mature.
